CrediFlex New Zealand Limited Recently Registered in the August issue of NZ Truck & Driver magazine features a new Kenworth K220 2.3m Aerodyne 8x4, that has joined the Buckeridge Transport fleet based at Dannevirke. The bulk tipper with alloy body and 5-axle tipping trailer by Transfleet is working NZ-wide on bulk tipping, wood chip and fertiliser tasks. The powertrain combines a Euro 5 Cummins X15 developing 600hp and 2050 lb-ft of torque with an Eaton Endurant EXDP-20F118D 18-speed automated transmission. The twin steer front end is Meritor MFS66-122 non-load share (rated at 12.0t) with leaf springs and the rear has a Meritor MT21-165GP with dual axle locks, 4.10:1 ratio, and eight bag Airglide 460 suspension with 10-inch ride height. Meritor drum brakes are equipped with ABS/EBS, DTC, and ATC. Exterior features include Dura-bright alloys, stainless drop visor, alloy painted bumper, custom grill mesh and grill bars, aero mirrors, dovetail roof spoiler, and extra marker lights. The cab has charcoal trim, ISRI air seats, chrome gauges, Smart wheel, digital dash cluster, wood dash panels, air conditioning, wireless phone charging pad, sliding draw fridge and a rear wall storage locker in the sleeper.
