Eroad GPS tracking is fitted to the fleet which is a valuable tool. We are able to run a highly efficient & compliant operation which is important in today's environment where compliance and safety are paramount.
The company is a member of the NZ Road Transport Association.
Currently Buckeridge Transport holds a 4 Star Operator Rating System from NZTA.
Simon Buckeridge is based at the depot where Dispatch, Fleet Operations & Customer Relations are his key role.
Danielle Buckeridge is the Administration Manager focusing on Creditors, Financial Analysis & Reporting.
Adam Jackson is the Operations Manager responsible for Health & Safety, Compliance and Fleet Operations.
Lorraine is our Debtors Administrator responsible for monthly invoicing.
The company employs eight full time experienced drivers who play a key role in the company.
Buckeridge Transport Ltd was established in 1977 by the late Ian Buckeridge and wife Judith Buckeridge.
The company was based in Carterton and specialised in stock, fertiliser spreading and general cartage.
By 1983 the company moved into log and timber cartage working for various sawmills in the lower North Island.
In 1991 the company relocated to Dannevirke and diversified into logging and timber cartage over the entire North Island and in 1993 fertiliser and wood residue cartage began.
Simon Buckeridge purchased the company in 2005 and became Managing Director.
